Some of these rooms are life-sized, others are miniature reproductions. Some are taken in Airbnb's. Among them are installations, reproductions, restorations, advertisements, and photographs of photographs of rooms that no longer exist. Original photos were taken in Hyde Park, Chicago, in the basement of the Art Institute of Chicago, in a hotel in Bologna, and a castle in Portugal, and in the pages of notebooks or magazines.
